The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology recently issued the Notice on Issuing the List of New and All National Enterprise Technology Centers (No.26). With its prominent innovation, CVTE was included in the list.

The National Enterprise Technology Center is now the largest and most nationally influential platform for enterprise professional technological innovation. The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, General Administration of Customs, and State Taxation Administration jointly confer this title based on the decisive results of draconian reviews. Organizations with this title are eligible for funds from national and local financial authorities and technological preferential policies.

Being certified as National Enterprise Technology Center has proven CVTE’s core competence in technological innovation, talent pool building, and intellectual properties.

In 2019, CVTE was included the “List of Corporate Inventions and Authorized Patents (TOP 100)” and the “List of Top 100 Greater Bay Enterprises with Innovative Patents”, which is attributable to its intensive investment in research and technology. According to statistics, CVTE invested RMB 788 million in research and development in 2018 and RMB 742 million in this regard in the first three quarters of 2019. At the Guangzhou headquarters, CVTE has many comprehensive laboratories, and the EMC laboratory built at the cost of tens of millions of Yuan is one of them. Besides, CVTE is planning its regional headquarters and R&D centers in Suzhou, Beijing, Xi’an, Hefei, and Chongqing and will put them into operation.

Moreover, CVTE has organized a professional R&D team. In 2014, CVTE established the Central Academy, its R&D institute, to study new information technologies including visual computing, data mining, medical signal analysis, audio signal information processing, and natural language processing. By now, this young R&D team with an average age of 29 has got a good grip of critical technologies like global television system modular development technology, LCD system integrated design technology, global smart television integration platform, smart interactive device modular design, touch control writing delay control, wireless multi-screen interactive software, and centralized control platform for interactive smart display devices.

In 2020, CVTE will continue increasing its investment in research and development, making in-depth explorations, focusing on independent innovation, and investing in research and development to pursue the dream of making the world a better place with technological progress and product innovation.
